Spring/Summer Seasonal Tasks

• You should do a trial run on you air conditioner early in spring.  If you find at this time that it needs maintenance, there will be time to have a service completed before extreme heat sets in. Replace your filters at this time.
• Test all zones on irrigation system for correct operation.
• Close the chimney damper.
• Adjust floor and ceiling registers for optimal air distribution for cooling.
• Check and tighten dead bolts on exterior doors.
• Fill in dirt around foundation at any areas that have settled around the foundation.  Dirt should be high enough that water flows away from foundation.
• Apply mulch around tree, shrubs and flowerbeds
• Inspect roof for loose, ripped or missing shingles.
• Apply fertilizer and weed pre-emergent to warm season (bermuda, zoysia) grass lawns at this time.
