The philosophy of Touchstone Homes says it all, "We pledge to build quality designed homes that will satisfy the highest expectations of our customers. Excellence, integrity and honesty in the conduct of our business, and above all, consistency in quality and performance, are the cornerstones of the success of Touchstone Homes." "We are focused on giving our buyers the most home for the money," emphasizes Richard Stein, Chief Executive Officer of Touchstone Homes. "Our product offers a high degree of finish for the money; more than the consumer might get from our competition. We do not want to sacrifice quality or design, which are our trademarks."

In 1994, Touchstone Homes began its operations as the home building arm of United General Industries, a residential/commercial development company, which gave Touchstone the sound financial base that has allowed it to quickly establish itself as one of the leading names in Atlanta's home building community. We select neighborhoods where the natural beauty of the land is carefully preserved, and where families may enjoy today¹s most rewarding lifestyles.

Touchstone Homes has been the recipient of numerous Professionalism Awards from the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Associations, in recognition by its peers in the industry for its solid construction and its exciting floor plans. Touchstone Homes has also earned the designation of Certified Professional Home Builder, which reflects a solid and successful company that will be around in the future.

In 2009, Touchstone Homes partnered with the United Stated EPA and became an Energy Star Certified Builder.  All of our new homes (starting in 2009) are inspected throughout the construction process by a Third Party Inspection firm for compliance with the Energy Star Program Guidelines and Requirements.  Each home is thoroughly tested and ranked  by this Third Party Firm and submitted to the USEPA for the home's Energy Star Label.  Energy Star Homes typically save the homeowner around 15% in energy costs and the homeowner will see that reflection in a reduced utility bill each month.  Energy Star Homes typically appraise higher than code build homes and can qualify for an Energy Efficient Mortgage through certain Lenders.
